What is Charlottesville Alliance?
The Charlottesville Alliance Sports Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the physical, mental, and emotional growth of youth through soccer. Founded in August 2003 and located in Charlottesville, Virginia, Charlottsville Alliance prioritizes a player-centric approach, valuing member feedback and aiming to build a family tradition within its community. They are committed to developing athletes who not only excel in the sport but also become lifelong advocates for the game. Players joining Charlottsville Alliance can expect a comprehensive and progressive program designed to inspire and develop athletes from U11 to U19 across various skill levels. Professional coaches utilize modern US Soccer Federation and United Soccer Coaches curriculums to cultivate an attractive and highly competitive brand of soccer. The club provides opportunities for players to learn new skills, build friendships, and engage in competitive environments, with the goal of producing State, Regional, National Pool, and International players, as well as guiding athletes toward college-level, professional, and National Team play through dedicated college placement advisory and advocacy. Beyond competitive play, Charlottesville Alliance significantly benefits the community through initiatives like TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer). This community-based program provides young athletes with disabilities the opportunity to learn and play soccer, fostering physical fitness, self-esteem, and social skills in a supportive environment. Charlottsville Alliance's commitment to inclusivity and holistic development underscores its positive impact on the broader Charlottesville community.
