Robinson’s deep understanding of the game is rooted in an impressive playing career spanning over 15 years.

• European Success: He made over 150 appearances for Wolverhampton Wanderers before helping lead Sunderland to the English Championship title and Premier League promotion in the 2004/2005 season. He also featured prominently for clubs like Portsmouth and Norwich City.

• North American Impact: Moving to MLS in 2007, Robinson became an instant standout with Toronto FC, winning back-to-back Team MVP awards and capturing the club's first Canadian Championship. He concluded his playing career as a player-coach with the New York Red Bulls.

• International Stage: Robinson proudly represented the Welsh National Team, earning 52 senior caps during his international tenure.
