NJFC (Live The Game)

The Live The Game way

LTG believes players get three main benefits from sport: Experience, a memorable, player-centric and fun learning environment led by enthusiastic staff; Development, focus and hard work that make the sport easier and more fun to play; and Competition, the thrill and rewards of success and failure, turning every moment into a learning moment.

Comfortable, Confident, Competitive

LTG aims to build complete players by making them comfortable, confident and competitive. Players first get comfortable working hard and enjoying themselves, then grow confident on the ball through guided learning, and are then pushed to showcase their ability.

Teachers, mentors and coaches

LTG staff play three roles: teachers who adapt to how each player learns, mentors who explain how what they learn aids their growth, and coaches who bring it together in key moments and motivate players and teams.

Curriculum

LTG uses a holistic curriculum that develops players technically, tactically, physically and mentally: - Technically sound: manipulating the ball to solve problems in games. - Tactically confident: reading the game and solving problems in high-intensity moments. - Physically able: keeping up with other players athletically. - Mental and emotional resilience through the highs and lows of sport.

Training sessions

A typical LTG session has four parts: - Warm-up and activation. - Technical and ball mastery, with few players per ball for as many touches as possible. - Tactical and possession work. - Game-like activity, solving problems with teammates.
