Lucas Pachon joined Colorado Rush (Colorado Springs) four years ago as an eager eight-year-old looking to transition into competitive soccer, drawn by the club's reputation for excellent coaching and elite player development. Beyond the high-level technical training, Lucas immediately discovered a profound sense of belonging within the club's daily environment. For Lucas, the club has become a second home where he genuinely looks forward to every single practice. His coaches provide unwavering support and valuable mentorship, while his teammates have formed a tight-knit bond, treating each other like brothers who care for one another unconditionally, no matter what happens on the pitch.
That collective grit and brotherly connection culminated in one of Lucas's favorite milestones: capturing the Rocky Mountain State Championship trophy with the 2014 Boys Blue team. After enduring a string of tough second-place finishes in previous tournaments, the team's hard-fought victory was an incredibly rewarding testament to their resilience and growth. Alongside the competitive thrill of regular seasons and dynamic summer camps, Lucas deeply appreciates how flexible and accommodating the Colorado Rush staff has been, working closely with his schedule so he can comfortably balance a high-level soccer career with his other childhood interests.
