Simsbury Soccer Club (SSC) is a non-profit and is considered a powerhouse in youth soccer, serving up programs from first grade all the way through high school. With up to 1,300 kids hitting the field each season, it's one of Connecticut's largest youth soccer clubs and a proud member of the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association.
SSC is all about fostering a love for soccer, building teamwork, and giving every player a chance to shine, no matter their skill level. 2. Avon Soccer Club
Just a short drive from Simsbury is Avon, home to Avon Soccer Club. The Avon Soccer Club is a volunteer-run non-profit that has been bringing soccer to Avon youth since 1978. As a member of the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association, the club welcomes players of all skill levels, focusing on developing them both on and off the field in a positive environment that champions good sportsmanship and fair play.
The club has a proud history, boasting regional and state championship teams, and has even helped produce collegiate and All-American players. Each season, they engage around 500 intramural players and sponsor travel teams for various age groups.
